The interest in user experience design is becoming more important in organizations. The challenge is great. For many years, attention was focused on the quality of the products and services provided, and not on how they are provided or reached.

It is usual to associate the term “user experience design” to software applications or websites; however, this concept applies to any type of product and/or service seeking to create an ideal experience.

The user experience designer is responsible for maintaining a consistent experience through all the interaction channels, understanding that these factors comprise not only the design but also the visual aspect, the content quality, and the emotions and feelings, which are often not expressed verbally.

The user experience designer’s goal is to observe, explore, and visualize how users feel when using the products and/or services provided, from start to finish. A product and/or service designed, prototyped, field validated, and tailored to the user’s expectations -to provide as much as possible a meaningful experience- is more likely to succeed.
