Product vision creation is understood as a process of discovery, a process of acquiring knowledge and learning, which requires experimentation.

Product vision should focus on creating value for the Customer. The Product Owner is responsible for defining and transmitting it to the entire scrum team. This vision must be understood by all project stakeholders, customers, and the team, and must remain relatively stable throughout the project development.

The vision should concisely communicate the essence of the product’s future and describe a shared goal that provides direction, being broad enough to facilitate creativity.

The Product Backlog is an ordered list of all tasks that might be necessary for product development, listing all the features, functionalities, requirements, improvements and corrections that constitute changes to be made to the product for future deliveries. The Product Owner is solely responsible for prioritizing the Product Backlog, including its content, availability, and distribution.

Unlike vision, the Product Backlog is dynamic and evolves as the product and its environment evolve. Thus, it constantly changes to identify what the product needs to be suitable, competitive, and useful.
